On March 28, 2025, the president of the „PetroAqua“ Association, Imre Szuhanek, participated in an exceptional event that took place at the Petrila Mine, the „Ladislau Schmidt“ Hall. „From the mine to the light“, an event that brought together art creators, people of culture, but also many lovers of beauty.
The hall, reintegrated into the „Exploatarea Culturală Petrila“ complex, a space dedicated to the great artist-miner Ladislau Schmidt, contains several creations by the famous sculptor, who wanted the place to represent a tribute to the miners of the Jiu Valley and which has become a place of celebration and host to exceptional cultural events, such as this one.
The event included a photographic art exhibition by the talented young photographer Sergiu Vintan, the charcoal handicraft creations of the plastic artist Cristina Sandor, a poetry recital and a folk music performance by the artist Florin Camen.
