The idea of Deputy Natalia Intotero to invite the German MEP Guido Reil to visit Hunedoara County, in order to be able to speak about Romania in an informed manner, is absolutely exceptional.
His attitude to respond to the invitation is also commendable.
If on December 1, Guido Reil was welcomed in the purest Romanian style at Brad, by the mayor Florin Cazacu and, later, by the president of the Hunedoara County Council, Laurențiu Nistor, today the MEP Guido Reil was a guest of Jiu Valley.
Imre Szuhanech, at the Bolii Cave, was a good host and presented him the historical evidence of the passage through these places of the then German lieutenant Erwin Rommel during the First World War, as he showed him that a team from the prestigious German television ZDF chose Bolii Cave to make a documentary about the history of humanity.
Guido Rail was at the former Petrila Mine. He then visited the mine-school and the Museum of the Romanian Saviour.
Guido Reil also saw Straja today.
We have so many beautiful places that we show him in Hunedoara, that he will definitely leave us, fully convinced that the real Romania is a country that fully deserves its place in Europe.
And we believe that from now on we will have another good friend of Romania in the European Parliament.
