Green Week at Secondary School No. 7 Petroșani!
May 5, 2025 — As part of the “Green Week” program, the Petro Aqua Association, in partnership with Secondary School No. 7 in Petroșani, organized an ecological education activity, through a unique “ECO Costumes” contest, made from recyclable materials.
The students, from preparatory grades to seventh grade, impressed us with the imagination, creativity, and meticulousness they showed in making the costumes.
The most successful creations were awarded with diplomas, books and sweets, bringing smiles and confidence to the little participants.
Outside of the competition, we challenged the children with a few “discreet” questions related to recycling, and their answers showed us that they know very well how and why we recycle the materials used in the costumes: plastic, cardboard, paper, etc.
We thank Prof. Sârbu Cristina, as well as all the teachers involved, for the care, involvement and dedication they showed. The success of this event confirms once again that ecological education starts from the youngest ages!
